It has been so long since we have had dog adoption events and we are so happy that, on our second one back, a shelter longtimer got adopted! Bigger, block-head dogs are hard to place sometimes and sweet Poppy was a staff favorite. She had been adopted from another shelter and was microchipped, but neither the adopter nor shelter was able to take her back. She is the BESTEST girl, housetrained, loves everyone, and takes her leash to show you she is ready to walk. She was happy to model her new harness even before all the tags were off!
